Thank you, Ernie Levario, for making the child size lectern and baptismal font for the children!
I think we have some church workers in the future. They love to play "chapel." Great conversational pieces.

New, Old, or Tradition
by Mrs. Donna
Happy New Year! When do the new become the old? Now, as the old Child Care Director at TLC, I would like to say that it was a real joy and pleasure serving you this past year. I look forward to serving you again this coming New Year 2012.
I want to thank everyone who came to the Children's Christmas Programs. I think this is now a tradition for both the church and child care center to have an evening of worship together. Praise be to God! We pray that many hearts were touched by the messages. What a mission we have here in our own "play yard" to be able to share Jesus with our little friends and families each day.
Since the beginning of the school year, we have made many new friends and created new relationships between the students, parents, staff and church members while still maintaining connections with the old ones. It brings a smile to my face when I see these relationships grow in love because of Jesus. Each new day is a gift from God for us to share His love with one another ...

It's Winter Wear Time
|
|
Please remember for snowy days:
- GLOVES for cold hands
- HAT for the head
- BOOTS & SNOW PANTS to stay warm and
dry
Also, leave an extra change of clothes on your child's
hook or cubby for any type of accidents - potty, paint,
water, etc...
PLEASE, PLEASE label all clothing so we can get them
on the right hook or cubby.

Sign-in & Sign-outs
|
|
Please remember to sign your child in and out daily, both
at
drop off and pick up. After checking your messages,
remember to click EXIT then FINISH to
complete the process.
The MANUAL SIGN-IN SHEET (next to the
computer) is a REQUIREMENT for our State License.
Our policy requires parents to sign in/out on the sheet as
well. Parents who forget to sign in/out will receive a
reminder note. If it continues, fee will be place on your
billing.
If you have other people picking up or dropping off
(grandparents or friends) let them know they can ask for
assistance - we'd love to help them! Starting with a clean
slate in January, lets make it our joint New Year's
resolution to get 100% more often this year.
A BIG thank you to those who never got a reminder
note this year! Keep it up and a pat on the back!

The Vision for Trinity
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Grace, mercy and peace through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Together we rejoice in the birth of Jesus Christ and are now in a new church year and at the beginning of a new calendar year. There is much to be accomplished in God's Kingdom this year! To that end, your leaders are moving forward on the vision which you have stipulated under God. Part of the Trinity vision is the banner statement, "A Beacon of Light and Hope." The light is the light of Christ which comes to each of us and is reflected by us into the community. The hope is our one-hundred percent assurance that we are loved by Jesus in this life and will be with Him for eternity. Jesus asks us to share that hope with everyone in our midst. In other words, we are called to connect people to Jesus.
Under the action plan of our vision, Holly Nelson, our Director of Family Ministries, begins her full time duties this month. I prayerfully welcome Holly to help Donna Einspahr and myself lead and support our congregation in the way Christ would want us to go. Holly will be implementing and supporting our focused ministry of parenting and grand-parenting training. The other one of Holly's focused ministries is the youth and children of our congregation and of the community. Her music skills are also a welcome addition to our contemporary worship service and our choir ...

THANK YOU!
|
|
THANK YOU to all who gave goodies, treats,
and gifts to
the staff for the holidays. We all enjoyed them and kept
us going. We plan to work-off those extra calories by playing with - and learning with - the children this coming year!
Thank you to all those that supported the various projects we were sponsoring this season. We were able to make two food deliveries to support those in our community. You were also generous with hats, gloves and books to support Project Santa Claus. And, you didn't stop there ... you also supported the Red Cross with clothes/toys for children that were affected by the recent Fire in Reno. Thank you again from Trinity and all those you touched by your generosity.

Thank you to those that responded to our early information letter. The Board will use that information to make their decision regarding our kindergarten class next year. From your response back to us it looks like we have enough to make one full class. Thanks be to God! We will keep you posted.
If anyone else wants to get on our list for up-coming classes of 2012-13, 2013-14 or 2014-15, please let us know.

Ms Dawn's Wise Owls
|
|
We have another animal joining our zoo. Ms. Dawn's class has decided to graduate to becoming the Wise Owls. I knew that class was smart. Check out their mascot, with his motto: "Whooo loves you?". Their answer is Ms. Dawn, but most importantly JESUS! How cute, and a nice reminder for us!
